Hello everyone, yes were are still in rented accommodation, and are still waiting for our new home to be finished.  We are living out of moving boxes at the moment and getting sick of it, but we made the best of Christmas.  As you can see from our photos, we had our Christmas treats as normal, most important.

We will be in our new home in February, we hope, fingers crossed (hope that Father Christmas sends us a brickie).
Have not done any embroidery this year, I have sew curtains for the new house and am nearly finished.

Hope that everyone is healthy and has avoided the Covid virus.

All the best for 2022 stay healthy and keep on stitching

Happy Days

Hi everyone it's good news, we'll be moving after being in lock down for several days. This is likely to be the last blog for this year. We will temporarily be without an NBN connection and will have to rely on the local library. The happy plant that we have growing is flowering and we hope that this is a good omen.

So until next time stay healthy and keep stitching, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at Christina's Craft and Gifts

November

Hi everyone it's November and we're still looking for rental accommodation to take all of our stuff. It would have been good if someone had told us when we handed over our first lot of money to start looking, so by this time we've would have found a place to rent. Is there anyone out there, who has a four bedroom house with a double garage to rent? Let us know. Its just over a month to go before Christmas is here. To help with last minute gift giving to friends, (Yourself included) we do have Gift Vouches

Our specials for the month of November are Primke Stranded Threads, Primke Kit Trailing Vine and fancy buttons.

October (one closer to the move)

Hi everyone it's October and the weather sill seems crazy. One day its already 30C and the next its raining so hard that you start to think where can I lay my hands on a row boat while trying to also cope with an icy blast of cold weather from the Antarctic. We're now busily looking for rental accommodation to take all of our stuff, so our old place can be ripped down and our new one built. All of us are eagerly waiting so that we can move back into our new place with its insulated walls and ceilings.

Our specials for he month of October are DMC Medici Wool (What we have left of), Finished Brooches and finally some Fancy Ribbon.

The B.O.M. are telling us it has been the warmest winter on record, I don't know where they're getting their information from but it sure doesn't feel like it from our end. News on the home front. We've just done our colour selection for our new house, doors, taps, ext. So we're one step closer to our new house.

Our specials for he month of September are Gumnut Blossoms wool, Elsa Williams crewel embroidery and Primke Designs Kit Hearts And Flowers Sampler.

August last month of Winter

Hi everyone it's August, the last month of winter. The year has been one of extremes, the beginning of the year with its fires and forty plus temperatures to now with its zero degrees and lower. It feels like someone left the freezer door open in Antarctica. We've just had our soil profile done, so we're one step closer to moving and heaps more packing to do. For those who don't know We're ripping down our old place and re-building  new. Hard to imagen that we've been living in the same timber frame house for the past fifty eight years and none of us were born here, so you can imagen the place is looking a bit tired.

Our specials for he month of August are Rainbow Gallery Threads, Beads - Plastic Flowers and Primke Designs Kit Rose & Lilac Urn.
